Title: New mango leaves are becoming damaged
Post by: DSotM on May 02, 2020, 07:29:53 PM

These looked great two days ago. Some have suggested sun burn which is plausible because this is the first
Flush of the year and it’s getting hot and sunny (93 degree high so far). Some have suggested anthracnose or powder mildew.

Any thoughts?

Looks like aphid damage and/or scab... BUT you really should post this to the "Mango Pests, Diseases, and Nutritional Problems" thread where the bona fide experts hang out. You'll get a much more accurate response there.

My new mango leaves were curled and not formed completely and forum member Shot
told me Zinc deficiency. I foliar sprayed Southern Ag citrus and mango spray
2 times a double dose and the new leaves are perfect on 3 out of 4 trees.
Thanks Shot
