Title: variegated citrus

can variegated citrus be grown from seeds? are they going to keep that variegated dna?

Pretty much the answer is no. The one exception is a variegated sour orange I have that does produce variegated trees from seed. It has some damage from last winters freak freeze we had, but is coming back strong. Every single other variegated citrus I've tried produced albino seedling, which died in no time.

Laaz,what a surprise!! With all the wisdom that you have, my wish,hope to hear more from you. You probably don't remember me but the seeds i bought from you are still in my yard thriving but in the form of rootstock and others. Have variegated orange was one of it.
Hope you consider staying here.

Thanks, just been very busy. Bob, no damage at all. We didn't get any wind & very little rain. Myrtle beach is getting hammered right now from flooding from the rivers draining out of NC.

I still have a lot, but not like I used to. Got way over demanding... I gave Stan most of my container stuff, but stull have a lot in the ground.

I'm trying other hardy fruit trees in the yard as well. Cherry of the rio grande and a few others. I tried multiple different avocado's & the turn brown & die as soon as I put them in the ground, I've pretty much given up on them. Oh and more palms...
