Great idea!
I also have a Rhyncholaelia but can't find a picture right now. And if my vanilla EVER blooms, I will post a pic of it also!

I was actually hoping for a section on orchids and tropical flowers, but then I remembered that's why we left gw ... lol but who knew at the time that I would prefer this format and system much more, and never care to go back to gw, even for flowers, so it's understandable to want such a topic here.

best edit to add a vanilla orchid with vanilla bean.  technically, a bean is a fruit.   ...thus, not off topic.   ...just barely.

Hopefully I won't get banned for sharing a few orchid pics, I didn't know it was against the rules.

I bought some phal orchids without flowers last year at very reasonable price, patiently waiting for them to get in better shape. Alas a new orchid was infested with mealybugs and now I am fighting it on half of my phals with horticultural soap solution. They successfully destroyed the flowerbuds on one phal already  :'( :'(  If all fails I'll have to repot them completely and hope for the best.
Looking for scionwoods: loquat, cherimoya, jujube, chocolate perssimon
