Hi, I will add an AMAZING species from Misiones or Paraguay: the mother tree is at Misiones now but it is from a seed of a paraguayan tree, 40 years old or so, I will have better photos tomorrow
*
Ultra rare and very sweet Myrtaceae sp. from Paraguay . Maybe an Eugenia, the fruit is very sweet and not acid, similar to guabiju in that regard, the skin is said to be tasty and crunchy, and the pulp is super sweet and nice; it doesnt taste like jaboticaba, guabiju or any other myrtaceae we know, it has a personal taste
similar to rose grapes, very good. One seed per fruit. The smell of the leaves is similar to Eugenia or Plinia, and the flowers are similar to Eugenia. Nobody really knows what species is it, so it must be an endangered one.
