Taking care of a mango
« on: October 08, 2019, 09:16:22 AM »
Hi, this is my 15 months old mango. I'm thinking that it need some fertilization or something else. Could you give me an advice? I live in Italy and the climate is not the best for growing mango.

Not the best idea to grow mango from seed in stores. Seeds are mostly weak and immature which will make a weak plant.

Something went wrong this past summer it should have grown 1/2 meter. Surely it needed fertilizer and fresh soil. Now you are headed into cool weather it may be too late to stimulate with those things. When weather warms again give it fresh soil, good sun, fertilizer and water.

I agree, the seedling appears to be a bad gene

Smaller pot, well drained soil... it looks over watered to me. Too big of a pot causes the soil not to dry out
