Rooting King Shatoot mulberry
« on: September 01, 2023, 09:49:49 AM »
I received two cuttings from a friend of Pakistani black and King Shatoot. I think I mislabeled them because the one labeled King Shatoot rooted after about 7 weeks and is growing great and the Pakistani has been sitting for about 5 months. I scratched the bark and it was dry so I figured it was dead but it looks like it has rooted?

What do you guys think? Most of my failed cuttings just rot but this one seems to have at least grown one root. I’ve never had that kind of crowing growth on a failed cutting either.

Sounds backwards.
I've never gotten the yellow/shatoot to root.

Yup probably backwards. Will know for sure when the survivor fruits.

I had given up on it and was surprised to see a root.
