I have large rooted passion fruit cuttings for sale.  They were rooted in water.

I'm not sure of the variety as I have 3 different types planted next to each other and they have grown together.  The varieties I have growing are Sweet Sunrise, Possum Purple, and Panama.  All are from PIN.  I have attached images of the cuttings, fruit and flowers.  I don't know which plant's fruits and flowers are in the photos as I have not traced them back to the mother.  As you can see, they are vigorous growers.

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Where should I prune this mango?

There are several branches growing outward and one going up.  Should I cut the one going up close to the others?

I have been reading for some time about possible container mangos.  Now that I feel that I am about ready, the final candidates are Pickering and Cogshall.

I don't want to put the tree in the ground and want to maintain it at a smaller size.  A lot I have been reading about these mangos seem to fit that mold.

I have contacted PIN, they have Cogshall in stock but not Pickering.  So I may have to wait.

Are there any suggestions or recommendations on growing these in containers?

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Dragon Fruit Taste Reports
« on: November 20, 2014, 05:42:16 PM »
Is there site that lists DF taste reports or ranks them?  I know it's subjective but I just wanted to know what is preferred by people "in the know".  Also wanted to know what to stay away from when I am in the nursery picking out DF plants.

I currently have a Halley's Comet plant which I planted a month or so ago.  I also have other unknown DF's and different cuttings.

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Can anyone ID this dragon fruit?

Can anyone help me ID this dragon fruit?

I am located in south FL and am looking for dragon fruit cuttings. I am looking for any type except what I have.

I currently have a Halleys Comet variety and several other plants which I have no idea what they are. I can trade cuttings of these or buy. I can provide photos of the mother plants where the cuttings would come from. Currently the several unknown DF plants I have all have blooms.

Let me know.

Hello all,

This is my first post to this wonderful forum.  I have been reading for some time and have just signed up.

Today I went north to a nursery in Broward and picked up a DF cactus.  It is called Halleys Comet.  Once I came home, I set up a post and planted that sucker.

I am looking for other types of DF to put around the post as well.  Let me know if you have any cuttings that you can spare.  I am willing to pay, as I don't really have anything to trade.

Thanks,
Shawn
