There's two parts to this story. First how bovine saw this variety on a truly tropical YouTube video called the most enjoyable mango of the season. Thank you Audrey from Ocala figure out that it was in Osceola County  that he had resided in since 1987. After Alex from tropical Farms suggested that bovine join the Facebook group The mango Growers of America did it bovine realize after putting on a Sherlock Holmes hat that someone named Andy Baylis  lived on the other side of East lake Tahoe from him had the mother tree. After sending him a private message several years ago we are the best of friends. Here's the second part in the story approximately 20 years ago Andy a captain and the Jamaican Coast Guard moved to Osceola County implanted several Bombay mango seeds that he had brought with him. One in his mother-in-law's yard the other in his backyard which is the Mark Anthony named after his beloved brother who has passed on to Glory many years ago. This mango variety is fairly well known through Facebook community so much so that a cat named Mark down in Miami got a clone grafted tree and some fruit from Andy which he shared with Dr Campbell from homestead who apparently liked it so much that he is now propagating and selling the trees. Surprisingly he has not renamed it such as Kryptonite which is actually K3 Kathy creation of Gary Zill. He conveniently misspells the first name and uses a C instead of a K Marc instead of Mark. Which is a little misleading to the General Public in my opinion at least give proper credit and respect to the name and the men  who propagated this varieties. Thank you Gary zill for K3 Kathy and Andy Baysil for the Mark Anthony. My personal observations of this mango variety the Mark Anthony is that it can be picked a little early and shipped it has a long window of peak flavor which actually gets better like fine wine. Early and its peak can have a citrus Tangerine flavor then later on it's like a golden apple passion fruit flavor to me. The ones I brought to the tasting we're on the small side because they were the first to be ready to be picked off of the tree because it is still early here and 9B I personally haven't picked any of my mangoes yet other than Dwarf Hawaiian. Andy is more of a philanthropist then a pirate profiteer but he does take bright future donations. He and I do like to take road trips to try to find different seedling varieties that are unique. We had talked about visiting Pine Island before the recent hurricane because I had an invite by a forum member to visit his Fruit Stand. If Vince has this event again next year and if it fits into his schedule pretty sure I can persuade him to come socialize. What would really tickle him as if Vince or someone on this forum arranges in the future a mango seedling of known varieties tasting event. There are several out there that are known top of my head black Julie which is a Jamaican Blackie seedling pollinated by a Julie. Another one is Dolores. I've heard of several down in the Sebring area I'm sure there are many more

After reading this, & I heard tons of Haji Khan's varieties were brought here & were renamed (after a famous persons from Fl visited him).
Poor man did not get the credit he deserves.

I have tried multiple pina colada & pineapple pleasure on Turpentine as well as on a manila seedling rootstock in my area (San Fernando Valley) the mature grafts die on me, however, not the rootstock. I do not know whats causing it, i guess they are susceptible to infection.

So I'm growing multiple pina colada seedlings which leaves are symmetrical to pina colada.

My seedlings took the winter like a champ.

If anyone in Socal are looking to grow these seedlings, i have them for sale.

Can anyone else confirm that Guava Mango is Polyembryonic? Here’s a seed from Guava mango and this seed look’s Polyembryonic to me because of the segmentation and the multiple root origins.

Guava is polyembryonic.

Im.currently growing a seedling, leaves are symmmetrical to guava & leaves smells like guava. Btw, guava variety is priyoor in India.

It seems like people favor Maha, Sugarloaf, and Sweet Tart. I cannot find a nursery selling those in San Diego. I am afraid to buy them from nursery in Florida because my avocado tree I bought from nurseries in Florida died, not just one but 4. 
Some of nursery owners were very nice and sent me  replacements but  one of two replacement also died. No more from Florida for now. Avocado trees I bought from local nursery are doing well.
If anyone knows any nursery selling those  listed above mango trees in SoCal, please let me know.
