I had one in the past and got rid of it.
I hear ya, only one branch. At least the zest is great for baking. Was free wood from the Texas Aggie certified disease center.
I've got about 6 varieties of oranges and all kinds of limes and stuff grafted to mainly a key lime tree. In spite of the low of 22F due to running out of fuel with about 8 hours to go the fruit and new growth are/were over the top. Blood oranges are excellent.
Cara cara is one of our faves.
I really hit the trees hard with about a pound of 15-9-12 osmocote each tree. Foliage never looked so healthy.
