Title: Duguetia marcgraviana and Duguetia lepidota for Sale or Trade
Post by: Dada on May 27, 2020, 04:07:30 PM
Duguetia marcgraviana 6 Euro
Duguetia lepidota 10 Euro
Duguetia marcgraviana is a fast growing Duguetia with big sweet apricot flavoured fruta.
Duguetia lepidota from the Amazonas in Venezuela. It is one of the best, if not the best of all Duguetias. It has a fabulously creamy sweet apricot-like taste. The inner center of the fruit is edible as well and tastes even better than the pulp around the seeds.
The seeds can take from 3 months to 1 year to germinate and prefer soil rich in organic matter
Shopping will be from Germany

Expensive not germinating seeds, this is my experience.
500ppmGA3 needs to be kept at 5 degrees soak for 48 hours. It germinates in 15 days, but the growth is too slow and expensive

Hi All,
Sorry for the late reply. But have only limited access to the Internet.
I will try to answer all questions.

Germination is tricky and in my experience takes a long time. I have seeds germinating right now that were sown last year in august. What is important to soak seeds and then plant in rich soil.  A forum member from Japan told me he had success by adding rock dust,  wormcasts, and some more stuff in the soil.
These trees in their native place reach heights of 15 Meters. I would think that you need to put them in the ground to get good fruit production. For the first couple of years it is ok to keep them in containers. I work with Matthias in Germany. He has my seeds and he is shipping out orders.
Cheers :)

GA3 500PPM can let it germinate in 15-30 days, you can try it. I was so successful last year ;D
