Here's the story . About 4 years ago had my gardener pick me up a cado tree . When asked what type it was he didn't remember . Started reading on here about varieties and landed up purchasing a Nisikawa , Oro negro , and a Brogdon . years latter here is where i'm at . Don't like the Brogdon , seed too big , hard to peel a real PITA . So out it comes . The unknown tree lands up being another Nishikawa , What are the chances . Since i only have room for 4 i don't want to Nish's so out one comes . That leaves me with one Nish and an ON (which finally started bearing fruit this year ) Unfortunately they both bear fruit around the same time (holidays) .
So what i'm looking for is 2 trees that bear differently from what I have . After hours of reading i'm settling in on a Day and the other either Catalina , Simmons or Holiday . Would like any input . Located in SW fl. Naples area .
Also anyone in the Naples area that wants a Brogdon or Nish can have them if they want to dig them out .
