I use regular fertilizer 10-10-10 and I do not see a full effect of it. I know that there is slow release fertilizers, but I m looking a practical way to make the cheap fertlizee to works. I thought something like to put a bucket in a hole and put the fertlilizee there. Does anybody has another idea or experience?

A friend of mine is bringing some seedlings from Paraguay. I read the fruit is relatet to quenepa. Melicoccus lepidopetalus. But I never tryed the fruit. Does anybody tryed. Can you compare with quenepa. Thanks.

I put many G. humilis at the bottom of the container I put descomposed leaves my surprise today when transplanting to bigger pot to find that red rubbery thing I guess is a mushroom. Not clue what is that. Any idea?

We learn from success and from mistakes.
I used a technique with the two plants, one as a rootstock and the other a small seedling at the stage before the leaves open. I perforated the rootstock and i made the seedling pass through the hole . They were in a battle between the two for several months. At once the luc loose all the leaves, but now the upper part of the rootstock died and the Luc has healthy new leaves. Showing the incompatibility and the Luc strenghts.

I had 4 plants in small containers. not only that they survived my lack of watering they perforated the container and in short time they become strong trees.
