Hi, I'm looking to buy edible clumping bamboo for zone 9b and sugarcane, I'm looking for sugarcane varieties I don't already have. Right now I got green, black, red, purple, Jamaican striped or candy cane and Hilo Buddha.

Fyliu the seeds sprouted and the cuttings are looking promising :) here is how I grow my pandan, I hope it helps. I use large foam bowl to store the water for the smaller pots and a container from the dollar store for the big pot.

Thank you for your reply, I'll pinch the flowers off and let the roots develop properly before letting it flower again

I have two June plum trees that i recently potted, one about two months and the other just over a month.they barely had any roots When I cut it off the tree but enough for them to survive. They both started flowering As soon as new leaves appear, should I pinch all the flowers off to let the roots grow? I'm afraid if the fruit develop then it might kill the tree. The newer tree has flowers on almost all of the new branches. If I pinch off those flowers then I would be removing almost all the new growth :/ please help, this is my first successful airlayer so I have no idea what's the best thing to do.
One month old airlayer

Two month old airlayer

First crop fruited earlier this year and finished around end of August, the second crop fruits are the size of goft ball to tennis ball right now. I live in south Texas zone 9b, we don't get frost too often here. Anyone else experience this?im not complaining, just curious :)

What happens to the sugarcane sugar content if it's not harvested in winter? Will it stay the same or go down after winter? I planted some cane last year and one of the stalk have stripes on it, non of my sugarcane have ever bloomed so that mean it can't be cross polinated with something else plus I only had one variety in my garden at the time.
