Tropical Fruit Buy, Sell & Trade / Quararibea cordata search
« on: July 17, 2018, 07:12:37 PM »
I know others have looked for this and not been able to find it, but I have not seen a post in around one year. So, does anyone have any lead on getting seeds or seedlings of Quararibea cordata? I know it fruits at the Fairchild, and I’ve heard it exists in a few other Florida locations, but I cannot seem to find it online anywhere. If anyone has any leads it would be greatly appreciated thank you.

Thank you! I bought some. Paid a crazy amount but I can’t find it anywhere and to try it for once I just had to do it.

So please, what do you think? My co-worker is from Puerto Rico and says this tree grows everywhere there and it's the best fruit ever...he talks so much about it that I searched for seeds (tree was stupidly expensive) and now have a seedling growing, and two more seeds germinating. I've never eaten mamey apple, so I'd love to hear what you thought of it.

Thank you! I actually ended up finding a nursery just over an hour away that has jaboticaba reasonably priced. Good idea!

Hi all, I'm trying to find trees/seedlings of the following:
Bouea macrophylla
Eugenia luschnathiana
Eugenia neonitida
Jaboticaba
Plinia edulis
Synsepalum dulcificum
Rollinia delicious

My preference is to drive to pick up larger specimens, but if I can't find any in the central Florida area (space coast specifically) I'm willing to have them shipped.

Thanks
Jennie

« on: March 27, 2018, 06:52:46 AM »
Hi I'm very new to the forum, but in looking around i came across this post. My Puerto Rican friend has talked about mammea americana to the point that we are both looking for fresh fruit, seeds, or seedlings to grow here in central FL. If anyone has these available please pm me.
