dig a hole about 2 to 3 feet deep and fill it in with just peat moss, compost, and manure. you could also lay a trash bag down on the bottom of the hole then fill it with compost and whatnot, that way you wont have to water as much. But yea lots of water and compost you'll have fruit in 6-8 months

in any area that raises soybeans, the feed and fertilizer place (for farmers, not suburbanites) has 5-10-15 in sacks.  my nanners love it!  a tablespoon or two per stalk, weekly, plenty of water,  and they grow like jack's beanstalk!

Well, for me inadvertently trying to kill it multiple times has really done the trick. To be honest, i can't get it to stop  ::)

Bananas seem to produce fruit faster when they receive plenty of water.  Heavy mulching with old banana stalks and leaves helps to hold water in the soil.
Applying laws and rules equally to all is a cornerstone of a civilized society.
