Growing Dragonfruit

I am Barry from Queensland, Australia.
Has anyone tried growing Dragonfruit in Pots placed on top of the Post allowing the plant to cascade downwards instead of growing up the Post?

Yes i saw the video from that ozzy guy and have it myself now, works very good...they don't get long this way.
