J-31 Jackfruit Fruits or Plant Needed
« on: September 29, 2018, 10:18:44 PM »
Does anyone on this forum know where I can find a J-31 type Jackfruit (Artocarpus heterophyllus) ripe fruit or grafted plant to purchase in South Florida or somewhere I can get it shipped to me?  Please IM or respond the thread with info..

Thanks

Mine are already harvested but it was my favorite jackfruit for me out of the varieties I’ve planted that fruited (sweet Fairchild, ns1/j31 seedling, and orange crush). I’m still wait on my amber, black and yellow golds, j30, Bangkok Lemon, red morning, and Excalibur red to fruit. But I don’t have any seeds till next year.

I dont believe Excalibur propagates J31.  They do or at least used to propagate J30, which to me is better (more orange in color, better taste and lower laytex).
