Cotton Candy Mango

I haven't heard anything about c.c. mangoes this year. Did anyone get to try them?  I had one off my tree and picked up a lot of coconut flavor,  Im wondering if I got a mislabeled tree since most the descriptions online are just intense sweet.

coco cream has a distinctive growing habit, and we can try to pin point.

It hasn’t really tasted like Coconut to me.

As far as why it wasn’t discussed much this last season, the only large producing tree had a fairly light crop this year.  Last year it had a huge crop though.

ok im glad im not the only one who noticed this.  I can see how c.c. tags can get mixed up easily.  I think it had a similar artificial coconut taste to coco cream but not as sun tan lotion coconuty flavor if that makes sense.

I put in five Cotton Candy trees this past spring, but only one Coconut Cream. It is easy to see the difference in growth habit when they are close together. In a couple of years I should get some side-by side tests too.
