Surinam Cherry Advice
« on: September 10, 2018, 11:21:55 PM »
Hello.  I got some Surinam cherries, but not a lot.  Lots of flowers, but barely any fruit.  It's really a shame because they were extremely delicious!! The first crop I got when I first got the tree was, OK, but this year the taste has been exceptional, and extremely juicy!  In fact I bit into one expecting it to be kinda juicy and ended up choking a little! Any advice on how to get more fruit?

Do you have a picture of your tree? Is it in a pot or in the ground? As your tree matures and gets larger, you should get more fruit.

I water mine daily too... but than again mine are all in pots.
Last year I had a light summer fruiting... with a tremendous fall fruiting.
My grafted "Black Star" was the highlight of my winter greenhouse.
