Title: Very sad news.
Post by: Laaz on May 12, 2019, 02:58:43 PM
I got a email from Petr Broza today. Here is part of it. What a absolute shame...

<<Hello Laaz

I send regular emails and information. But your email often returned right as
undelivered. Many addresses, but I don't know which is functional.

Two disasters came to the greenhouse:
- herbicide in topping water. Eliminated most of the varieties in the container.
- a greenhouse fire. The wood was burning next to the stove. two cubic meters of
wood ...
High temperature and poisonous smoke destroyed above ground parts of strong
plants even in soil ...

At present, the plants in the soil have grown again. Only the base bottom
variety. Other varieties on the branches died. I have health problems and
therefore I will not restore a large collection.
I'll send some photos>>

Looks like a full-fledged sabotage...  ??? or a stroke of very bad luck

He had such a marvellous collection. I have seen his trees number of times.
