Does was anyone have these as small trees for sale?  They always have these for sale at Lowe's, but, I heard their variety produce fruit of poor quality.

I can't speak to the ones that hardware stores sell, but if it's selected from a good tree, and asexually propagated, mexican cream guava is one of the best in my opinion.

My favorite is the "Benjamin" a superior selection.

I have a Mexican Cream from “Lowes. Thought it was a white interior fruit but mine are a light pink, the flavor is good but not as satiating as a ruby/red guava

I must have bought a dozen "Mexican cream" guava at big box stores all were pulled and burned in my firepit. Not one gave me edible fruit.
