Doubt it. Those seeds don't look at all like passiflora seeds.

If you provide a photo of a plant, leaves or better yet flower - it will be helpful.
But agree with Oscar, definitely not Passiflora. Just by looking at the seeds could be Cucurbitaceae.

The seeds look a lot like sapotaceae, quite a bit like Chico seeds.  But there are lots of seeds distributed as in a passiflora.  I don’t think it’s passiflora either  but it comes to mind.
Sure, more info would help.  But this is a fruit that someone brought to me from a central market in another part of CR.  The pulp tastes pretty good and the presentation is impressive so I thought I’d go ahead and post the limited info that I have thinking it might be recognizable to someone.
Thanks,
Peter

It looks a lot like Cionosicyos macranthus.

I have the answer and ironically in Costa Rica it is called Maracuyà chino. So you where partially right! It is Cionosicyos macranthus from Cucurbitaceae family as I stated earlier.

One of its common names is Chinese Passionfruit, so in a way, everyone is right!

Thanks for the help. I’m surprised it’s even native and I hadn’t seen it before.  It was found at the farmers market in San Isidro, General.  It’s a tasty fruit and I’m certainly going to plant the seeds.
