Homestead Nurseries
« on: July 24, 2021, 01:54:09 PM »
I'll be heading down to Homestead in the next week or so.  Haven't been down that way in a while and I'm thinking it'll be a good time visit some nurseries.  I pulled the life support on my old Cogshall today and the executioner came and bid it farewell, stump and all.
Hearing good vibes on the Cecilove mango and I'd love to score one while I'm down there.  Recommendations?  Thank you.

Dont know anyone propagating Cecilove other than Alex by special order. Dont know you will find any Cecilove fruit down South other than from mangomen, if they are open.

I would check Al's Fruit Trees for best selection ( it not all the way South in Homestead).

Yeah, heard from Alex and the Cecilove is on backorder, likely until January, 2022.  Not being a sophisticated mango gourmand as many here, I think I'll replace the Cogshall with an Angie.  Too impatient to wait 6 months to replace a tree.
