A lot of you probably remember...
« on: May 16, 2019, 09:24:18 AM »
I lost my rott Athena back in 2010. I found her grand daughter & named he Cerra. Cerra had a great life, but we lost her this past March to some type of mass in her liver. It really hit me hard, as you know dogs are like family. Well, since I always need a Rott in my life we found our new kid. Meet Bella ( I named her Bella after the UFO song Belladonna, it came on the radio as we were going to pick her up). Her dad was imported from Hungary & is a champion.

My girl Cerra RIP & Peppa our Pitt.

Cerra & my grandson on the beach.

You must be proud. I know how you feel about dogs that are family. I had to put down my two companions this year. One was 17 years old and one 18. Sad time for me. I went the other direction....I shall have no more.

Yeah, and it sucks that large breed dogs don't live very long. Cerra was 9.

That is sad. What I know that bred dogs live less including the small ones.
I have a german shepard 15 years old, it couldn't walk and collapsed last year. Now I give him stem cells producers to remake the cartilage for the hips and it can walk again, well not run but walk.

That's true & my dogs are like my kids. The most spoiled dogs in the world.

Somehow, spoiling a dog gives good results that don't occur when dealing with children.

Nice family pics and thats one lucky kid to have the chance to play with a dog like that.Ive also lost 2 dogs just a few months apart ,one 14 years old german shepherd that died of old age
and one 4 years old caniche that left the.home and came back badly beated and died just a few hours after that.I also said that il not get a dog again because it will not replace the ones ive lost, but then i rescued a stray dog and now im dreaming to get a malinois wich its like a german shepherd but has the temper of a caniche.https://youtu.be/Guo5AAqDguo

My sympathies. Have had 4 dogs go to doggy heaven and the 2 we have now are getting a bit grey. I couldn't last without a dog in the house. Tried to after our golden lab died 10 years ago and only lasted 2 weeks before we started checking the internet.

Laaz I’m so sorry to hear that I know what you mean my dogs are 12 and 13 and I’m dreading the day that they won’t be around I know it’s inevitable and getting close.  I too like a few here are going the other way I won’t have another the loss has been so much to bear they truly are family even better than some Family members i have lol.  Your new dog is adorable I too remember first getting ours. Oh the joy. Enjoy :)

Rottweiler ladies are cute and intelligent, while males are stubborn brutes ;D

Lol! Bella is as stubborn as a mule when she wants to be.

I think I picked the right name after having her for a month,,,

She doesn't chew my plants (yet), but she's like a bulldozer & walks right over & through stuff instead of going around. Some of my Eugenia's are pretty beat up from here plowing through them...
