29 July 2015: Peak Durian Season in Sabah, Malaysia. Four or five species can be found in markets if you are lucky: Durio zibethinus (well-known durian), D. graveolens, D. oxleyanus, D. kutejensis, and D. testudinarum. Also lots of fine cempedak, jackfruit, tarap, and rambutan. The attached photos were taken in Tawau and Kota Kinabalu. That Jackfruit in Tawau was the Mother of All Jackfruit! The largest I have ever seen. We are going to Ranau, near Mt. Kinabalu, to fill our Hilux with The King this weekend!
