How to apply supplements
« on: September 01, 2020, 08:06:00 AM »
hi everyone. I am new to growing citrus. I believe my changshou kumquat is magnesium deficient, so I purchased a supplement. On the container it says to mix 1.5 ounces per gallon of water for soil application. So my question is, how much would you apply to the soil? Would you soak the soil completely through or just a little? I do not want to kill my tree but I am worried it is not getting the nutrients it needs.

Thank you!

Your tree is not showing a magnesium deficiency.

Thank you for the reply. Are the yellowing of the older leaves a sign of any deficiencies? Or is this normal?
