Nice tree and your pruning looks awesome- I'm trying to accomplish the same thing.  And your backyard too. ( I'm promised a tour  :))

Sorry for the delay but here are the pics of my coco cream tree.  The top of that new growth you see is six feet from the ground.



You had to have bought that in 7 gallon?? It's coming along real good. Lots of greenery branching out due to your tip pruning at 6" I think you said
Yes, I purchased as a 7 gallon but it had literally JUST been potted up from a 3 gallon....so depending on how you want to look at it, it was a very small 7 gallon or a large 3 gallon.

You are correct, I have been tip pruning at about 6 inches or so...I am actually going to hit the newest shoots you see today or tomorrow.  I really like the way this is growing so far.

I got a 3 gallon in Dec. and I've had nothing but trouble. It's finally flushing for the second time spring/summer but it's nothing like the one in the pics.
