Ficus coronata

Hi,

I have several small Ficus coronata plants (+/-25cm) for trade.

(It is said that Ficus coronata is the australian fig species with the best tasting fruits and it´s a fairly fast growing species).

Trade only, sorry - I´m interested in Castanea species for example.

Bit of variation in fruit quality with sandpaper fig, birdseye variety is good but alot of wild types are fairly ordinary.

Have the birdseye, nice small berry size fruit, like a fair bit of water.

It is a small species of sandpaper fig from the sub tropics and thee are other close relatives at least the equal.Sandpaper is about the leaves not the fruit. They won't take the world by storm but can be alright with good lines.Ficus racemosa at the other end of the spectrum can have tasty fruit on some trees but this is a big tree with masses of large fruit in clusters.

Yeah birdseye is good but thirsty!!! I had mine drowned in bucket of water 24\7. See heaps of big ones around lamington national park all grow close to creeks. Found a nice one growing on somebody's boundary in Bundaberg and had very nice fruit, leaves were alot smoother like the birdseye.
