Please Help with this Jaboticaba ID
« on: October 26, 2019, 11:26:28 AM »
I'm no expert on Jaboticaba but I know some of you out there are.

I got this plant as a "Red Hybrid" after I got rid of my previous one.
The more I look at it the less it looks like a Red Hybrid though.

The leaves don't look the same and I noticed it likes to grow in flushes. (my previous Red was continuously throwing out new pretty leaves)

I compared it to the Sabara i have and it doesn't look like it either.
No fruit yet, its been in a 15 gal container for a little over a year

Agreed. The plants you guys get in Florida blow my CA mind sometimes.

It looks like a hybrid for sure. My Red has the same characteristics.
