Rose apple (pomarosa) flowering
« on: May 20, 2022, 12:06:07 AM »
this is the first time it has flowered, but I have no idea how the flowers work(how they pollinate or give fruit). I left the first set of flowers alone and only the bud of the fruit is currently on the tree, it has been 1 month with no swelling of the fruit bud, its just there. some have fallen off but thats just about it.

is it normal for rose apples?

ne
flowers currently on the tree

fruit buds that haven't changed in a month and a half

fruit its supposed to give

That happens with my wax apple so it's probably a normal thing.

I'd planted a Rose apple (probably from seed) for 4 years. The trunk is almost 2" but no flower yet; how old is your tree?

I actually bought my tree from a seller near me, but just fron eyeing it I would say its about 4-6 years old
