Herrania , is it worth planting besides the beautifull flower ?

Soon time to put some in the ground but hesitant to waste space ....

They don't take much space and they don't need sun either.
There are many and a small collection is nice.  Some have decent pulp and are even used for chocolate but you would need a lot to make processing worthwhile.

Could I mixed them ( the beans ) with the T. cacao beans Peter ?

That is a good question.  I don't see why not and some of the historical literature refers to the use of certain Herrania seeds in the same way that cacao is.  I think they are great little plants.  I have

I think those are the right names.  I also have a couple of rare theobromas but those generally grow bigger.
