KEPEL SEED GERMINATION

HOW MANY DAYS NORMALLY KEPEL SEED TAKES FOR GERMINATION... IS THERE ANY WAY TO IMPROVE GERMINATION TIME..?

About two or three weeks for the first root. About 6 months for the first sprouting out of soil and quite one year for the first leave. It's very long !

Supposedly germination does not take too long (as Gourlata states) but you will not see any signs of germination above ground for quite some time.    Mine did not come above soil level for quite a long time (I don't recall now, maybe 10 mos?) and they continued to pop up above soil sporadically until maybe 14-15 mos. In the end, I got pretty good germination overall.

I have not heard of any ways to speed it up, but perhaps a heat pad (bottom heat) might be beneficial?

I think it takes 2-3 months before we see a sprout come up. The thing is that the sprout looks more like a very small dead stick for awhile.
