Cloud cover ☁ ❄

Has anyone used cloud cover for frost? I've had two frost days this year and sprayed cloud cover before the frost and all of my trees survived untouched. It even protected my seedling ataulfo that's not even a year old. We hit 30 and 32 degrees and the lawn was CRUNCHY when I stepped on it so clearly it was a hard frost. Does anyone else have positive experiences with this product for either sun or frost?

I thought Cloud Cover was an anti-transpirant that helps with transplant shock. I've sprayed it on my lychee airlayer and it didn't help protect against the dry wind.
Perhaps I used it for the wrong purpose.
