Hi, the jaboticaba fruits from Eldorado are here now!

Taste is sweet when it ripes in black colour, with a good amount of acidity, very enjoyable. I will be cleaning the fruits, doing icecreams and selling the seeds. It is a hardy species, it can resist -5ºC (23ºF) or maybe more. Many of them has a drop shape, so I am calling them "gota" just to remember its variety or species, as there are many more at Eldorado, Misiones.

Thank you very much for your interest in the rare native species of fruit trees in Misiones, Argentina. Next week will come several species of fresh fruit, I will be cleaning the seeds, making ice cream, jams. Keep in mind that this is an artisanal process and that it is a lot of work to clean jaboticaba seeds, there may be delays but my concentration is in achieving high quality packages.

He has now shipped to me two times to California with no issues. I recommend him, and Argentinian post does a good job so far. If you trust Uganda post, you can trust Argentinian.

They are here, I cant stop eating...

Jaboticaba INTA, Misiones Argentina, excellent flavor similar to jaboticaba sabará but stronger, the fruits measure between 1 to 2.8cm in diameter, with a good percentage of pulp and have a 1 cm long petiole (cabito) approx. They have an interesting post-harvest life: arrived after 5 days of traveling by bus, with some ice that must have lasted 2 days, that is, after that they were 3 days without ice, and were harvested 7 days ago. We will make ice cream. I will be cleaning the seeds... a lot of work to do! be patient please...
