There is a new low chill cherry that is self fertile.  Check Dave Wilson website.  You could also look for improved varieties of capulin cherry.

The DWN variety is Royal Crimson. Previously named 6GM25.

Other than that, there are some previous varieties like Minnie Royal and Royal Lee. I am growing cherry too but not low chill like stella, lapin and the others

If you are getting minnie royal and royal lee you should know that they have synchronicuty problems. I tried growing them and in 5 yrs i fot a total of 3 cherries. They would never bloom together. I finally pulled them and got a royal crimson hoping that since it is self pollinating it will work better. I would have held on to them but i didnt like the rootstock zdwarf it was very canker prone, at least in my area.

Those synchronicity problems can be solved by planting one of the trees in more shade. (It doesn't have to be shade, just somewhere were it will get less sun during the Winter months because of the lower angle of the sun in the sky)

Re synchronicity, the new cherry 6gm25/ royal crimson bridges that gap. But... if you have enough stone fruit you will definitely get lots of fruit set. Yes, one of those flowers 3 weeks before the other, but mine set and bear quite a bit (barring losing fruit to santa anas) despite the synchronicity problems, so some other stone fruit is pollinating it.
