Cant beat those prices

lol thanks!

I don't know if you know how,(or anyone else knows?),

but I was trying to combine shipping, so a buyer could get multiple trees without having to pay for additional shipping?

I could fit an additional 5 trees per box, and ship about 6 trees for $5 total!  but each tree would cost $7.

so for instance, the grand total would be $47 (6x$7=$42 seedlings + $5 shipping)
im not sure either but you could list individual listing from 1 to 5 trees so how ever many they wanted it would be one listing with one shipping

What you do is you state the initial shipping fee, then you say "$1.00 for each additional tree"(or whatever you charge) and "combined shipping", then "Request an invoice, once auction is over". If the buyer does not request the updated total, then you should not for them. I find you wind up paying out of your own pocket when you take it upon yourself. It's up to the buyer to make the effort to request the updated invoice.

thank you for the detailed explanation!!

I'm going to leave the listing alone for now, but I might try to change it in the future!

I have tissue cultured Red Jaboticabas for sale, they cost about $5-$8 ea, depending on how many you purchase!  Prices are subject to change.

they are still small, approx 6 inch tall, but healthy and ready to ship!

sorry I have not tried to grow tissue cultured plants out to fruition, but so far they are comparable to seedlings...just a little slower during the initial phase of juvenility, which they are already past.

Please email inquiries to FlyingFoxFruits@gmail.com

lol, yes I have all ends covered on the red jabo front.

the only thing I don't have is a conversion kit for my paintball gun, so I can use the fruit as ammo!

I could give out free samples to the squirrels!  even when they are way up in a tree! or running across a fence!

Adam, if you do tissue culture of a fruiting Grimal or Coronata, I'd be interested in a few.

the mature explant isn't going to help increase precocity on TC'd plants.

I do have lots of small Grimal seedlings for sale, coronata should be coming later.

personally for increased precocity, I think a grafted plant is the way to go! (or a large seedling of course)

and don't forget some varieties fruit earlier than others!

Coronata 15-20yr

Jaboticaba de Cabinho (trunciflora) 15-20yr

Paulista 10-15yr (I don't have much experience, but seems to take longer than Sabara for sure!)

Sabara 7-10yr

Grimal is precocious 5-7yrs

white is precocious 4-7yr

yellow is precocious 3-4yr

Red is one of the most precocious 2.5-5yr

hello to all,

I have some red fleshed illama seeds for $2 ea (not sure what variety exactly, but fruits are delicious)

I also have some Phet Pack Chong atemoya seeds now for 50 cents each, must order at least 10 seeds.

I use them for rootstocks, (for atemoya, and sugar apple mainly), they could be planted for experimental purposes, there is a chance you can get a nice fruiting tree, but they are not considered true to type.

I will post when more Annona seeds are available, it should be in the next 30-60 days.

Any update on the availability of the new atemoyas from socal SAP, SL?
Also do you have any info on the "peruvian red" sugar apple from Wayne Clifton? Availability? Self-fertile?
Thanks in advanced

Thanks for inquiring,

I'm hoping to get scions again this winter from JF, i couldn't get any to take this season.

As for the Peruvian red from Wayne, I have a tree that's flowering size, but I'm waiting tor it to fruit next year before I graft any...I  ant to test the quality, because it's a seedling tree.

I have lots of sugar Apple seedlings to use a rootstock for next year, I wanna make about 40-50 big red.

hello to all who have requested Myrciaria coronata var. Restinga, seedlings.

I finally have some ready to ship (in about a week)

the price will vary depending on the size of the plant, the price range will be about $20-50, with the smallest plants being about 10 inch tall, and the largest being about 2ft tall.

most are in the $30 range, being a little taller than 1ft.

I alsol have a limited amount of Myrciaria jaboticaba var. Caipirinha (a dwarfish variety, that has extremely sweet fruits, closely related to Sabara, but leaves are smaller, so are fruits...an excellent choice for container growing and bonsai...very rare)...they will cost about $20-30 depending on size, the size range is about 8-12 inch tall.

Question:
Are ilama trees productive? Can it be kept in a container? What variety do you find as a good compromise between taste, production and easy of growing?
Thanks

Not a good candidate for container growing really...the tree seems to need a 25 gal pot at least...and will require a 100 gal before you know it (maybe in as little as 8 yr with proper care)

But with this said, I have one I'm trying to keep in a pot...it's about 3yr old from grafting (on illama rootstock), and it's in a 25gal, already asking to go into a 50gal, but I'm going to keep it rootbound and as small as possible.
