Title: cooking annatto leaves
Post by: buddyguygreen on October 14, 2015, 12:24:31 AM
I have an annatto about to produce and i researched cooking the seeds but found nothing about cooking the leaves. im wondering is there a special way to cook them and how is the taste. I saw you can make tea with the leaves also and is really beneficial, anyone made tea before with the leaves.

Many city markets in the State of Pernambuco, northeast Brazil, sell   annato with some  added cumin and  black pepper  in  powder form and is used in cooking meat or fish. This adds colour and taste.
