Need help identifying these 2 trees

Need some help identifying the broad leaf tree in foreground
and the taller tree with very light colour leaves directly behind

I think the broad leaf one is Bixa orellana

I second that. Bottom is Bixa orellana (Annatto Dye) I believe. Where did the top one come from? If sown then the seed looked like what? It is hard to narrow it down without flowers and add to that the fact that it is a sapling makes it near impossible. That is my 2 cents anyways.

They both appeared in my recycle potting soil compost
Makes it hard to identify.Must have sprouted from late starting seed

yeah. the broadleaf is Annatto or Achiote
i put mine in ground 2 years ago an d it took off
this winter we got 26F temps. coldest ive seen in years
the Annatto was less than 3ft from the house...
Still waiting to see if it gets leaves back.
i know my Jujube dont re-leaf until April or May.
