Good hand pruner by Fiskars

Two piece forged construction. I like the spring action instead of coiled steel. You have a really great pruner then good for backup. But I use as primary pruner along with another one by Felco

I bought recently from Walmart. $8.46 +Have them send to a nearby Walmart and you don't have to pay shipping.

Prune a lot with those or pruning larger diameter or hardwood material and you hand will be hurting.

Pay the extra and get Felcos.  They make a number of products for all situations.

These anvil pruners are manufactured by Vesco and are made in Italy. They are a little pricey but the nice thing is you can buy spare parts for the pruners if any part of the pruners get damaged. They sell them in two sizes.
