Yes the locals have their own names for them. But I didn’t write it down and don’t recall what were the names. A guy I know who lives there would probably know the names if I asked him but to me this isn’t a big deal  as long as I know the Latin name that’s good for me

It’s popping now in Kota Kinabalu. Graveolens heaven. Also found ‘tenom beauty’ Which kinda tastes like regular zibethinus but has a beautiful red almost pinkish color to it, Lindsay has written about it. Feel like the willly Wonka of Durios here

Do you have some images of this "tenom beauty"? Sounds like an interesting cultivar.

Hi Sy, the Pink /yellow skin is the Hibrid Zibethinus / Dulcis Han Sen got the pics and seeds available in trade & buy section...
