Fungicide application when it rains every days
« on: June 15, 2018, 09:37:52 PM »
Need some help and information.
I am in Florida and it has been particularly rainy.
Last time I applied copper int he evening it rained during the night and all day the next day.  I did not know if I should have reapplied immediately, kept my schedule or reapply but after a week or so.

What is your strategy for fungicide application when it rains every day?

I wonder if a systemic copper like Magnabon CS2005 combined with a sticker like Nufilm will work for you? I’ve never used nufilm but IIRC, it extends the life of the fungicide and I believe it may weatherproof the fungicide. The systemic action of the Magnabon should help control fungal diseases even if there are rains but I’m just assuming.

I bought some magnabon as well as abound. I’ve read that  abound can be sprayed or used as drench. Does same apply to magnabon or is it strictly a spray?
