Pomsi-Persea fructifera seeds for sale/trade-Not Available now

This  year Pomsi(Machilus edulis/Persea fructifera) tree did not fruit mostly.
One or two trees fruited sparsely in remote Sikkim and my collector went there to get the seeds for you

This seems like a rare species. Can you tell me what the Pomsi fruit taste like?

It may taste like avocado-soft cream with little smell and bland taste,small fruit size but with a good amount of fats.It is very popular in Bhutan ,Nepal & Sikkim for making  milkshakes and other items.

If 4-5 persons are interested to get Pomsi Persea fructifera seeds,I will try to make them available .There are many unexplored but nice fruits in the North East India which I can bring for forum members but I do not like to through the seeds if they are not accepted.

Roy, I would be interested in Pomsi seeds again. And in any other local fruit from the cooler regions, that may take just a little frost in the winter.

The pomsi seeds you sent me this year gave 5 seedlings of which 2 survived now and I am very happy to grow this one.
