Being a newbie to growing / eating pineapples, and preparing them...I had no idea how to eat them . It's interesting how dramatic the texture of the fruit can change, if you properly prepare the fruit, by removing the skin (rind or whatever), and then cut the flesh into bite sized pieces....the flesh is much easier to eat...with none of the fibers getting in your teeth....the way I ate the white jade was like a caveman, I cut it into 4 pieces, and started to chomp the core, and worked my way to the skin...this is not really the smartest way to enjoy I pineapple I've come to realize...the last piece I saved was chilled in the fridge overnight and properly prepared, as a result it was so much more enjoyable to eat.
