Nice to hear a little first hand feedback Jack, do you recall if it was early, mid or late season for you? I am trying to spread my harvest as long as possible

Sorry on the harvest time....the fruit were few as it was only a grafted limb.  Newly made tree is small.  Irvine CA is much earlier than we are as we are further north and quite cooler.  "July to December" probably means early to mid spring for us.  Avocado industry here on CA cool coast fills a gap when So. CA is finished harvesting.  Typical summer day here is 75 degrees F.

So Jack did you find it a late variety just compared to other avocados in your area? That is if you had something to compare it with

Wish I could help, I am picking Lamb Hass and Greengold and a couple of Pinkertons and Anaheims now (middle of February).  Looking around today, looks like that is it, so season is over now.  Should see bacons ready early to mid summer.  Hope that helps.

Its more useful to say how many months your avocado hang before picking.  Lamb hass is ripe in June to october down here in sourthern CA.  It hangs for around 14-17 months.

I think Jacks are hanging for close to 2 years and you are saying yours are closer to 1 year?  Big variation depending on latitude.  My latitude is around 33N.
