Just wondering if you can grow Sapodilla in a container? And if you can which variety?

Thanks

Yes...depending on what your limitations are would dictate what varieties would be recommended.  In any event, if you plan on keeping in the pot its entire lifetime I would not rely on a 25 gallon to suffice.   While moving it would not be too easy, if trying to keep it in a pot for its entire lifetime I would go with a pot in the 100 gallon range.

Young saps would require some protection if you get an extended cold spell under 30 degrees, mature trees can withstand temps down as low as 26 degrees or so.  For best results, keep protected from a North wind.

I've been contemplating getting another but for a container. Makok. Dwarf and bears allot.

No where to plant it ...but at least I got it. ;)

It is better to thin a Makok's crop then let it bear an excessive amount.  It will allow for the fruit to become large in size and a better flesh to seed (and skin) ration.  Yes, I know some of you eat the skin but I do not.
