That sure looks like Mirabilis jalapa, four o'clock. It certainly has tubers but definitely should not be eaten as a vegetable like yacon.

O NO!!!!!, i just looked that up mark it sure looks the same, the tuber was sold to me as a YACON at a local nursery it looked like a skinny yam.           thanks for pointing this out.          Patrick
