The first place Englands is where I got my tree, it is doing great.
Just fruits has a couple cultivars and eat the weeds has a pretty long detailed description

Maybe search by that 'Che' Berry tag, I saw some for sale here, but on research I think I passed because my weather here is not suitable.

What do you think of the fruit?

I always thought it would be neat if osage orange genes could be bred into them (or vice versa) to make giant ones.  I read once about an osage orange / che hybrid, but it was purely an ornamental, not for fruit.

What do you think of the fruit?

Last year it had fruit but dropped it, this year was much colder and it dropped all
it's leaves. Now it has leafed out and I am hoping for flowers/fruit?

I think this fruit tastes very nice. Very juicy, with a  juice tasting very similar to watermelon juice. Unfortunately they don't do well in tropical climate.

I have only ever ate 1 and it was rather dry and gritty (think of a mouth full of ground egg shells with a bit of flavoring ) all tho i have heard they are quite good and juicy that is why i was asking if there where good named cultivars, before i start looking for wood.                           Patrick

Sounds like it was not properly ripened.
