Hi everyone,he is telling me NOW that minimum per variety is 5 seeds ,however his quotation for shipping of the orders I allready sent seems expensive for me, at beggining he was charging 75 us ,for shipping,thats why I had the idea of doing this group order so we can split shipping among us,and he agree but now hes charging 41us flat to the first 6 quotations I sent which is lower but at least for me still high specially considering he is going to sell so many seeds,and he also wanted minimum of 10 seeds per variety,I told him most of us are back yard growers and dont need to many seeds of one variety,then he agree to lowered to 5seeds per variety,this coordination is taking more time than I thought,Im just now thinking to make him an offer of 19 usd for shipping which I think.is fare, and he doesnt accept it we can look from another more flexible source please let me know what you think

Raul, if he is in Brazil, all the seller from Brazil told me they must ship with boxes can't ship with envelope anything that is not paper and they all quoted me 30-35 usd(probably different for each region? don't know). So I doubt you can get it for lower than 30.

This is the info they share about Z4:
Regarding the Z4 it is an hybrid of the normal jabuticaba. The fruit have a superior taste and seeds are relatively smaller. Productivity is also better than average. Sorry for the delay on replying, I was out of the office.

I will add to the quotation list and provide all for you, until Sunday I will also double check seeds availability in number until Sunday. For the majority there is no problem, but there are two that I do not have many: Sapucaia and Ubaia-Rubi da Amazonia. I can confirm later

If any of you are interested in rare Eugenias, please be aware that in a few weeks I expect to have fresh seeds available to sell of Eugenia calycina and many other rare Eugenia sp. (Dwarf pitangas/Eugenia pitanga + Eugenia blastantha + Eugenia uniflora var. dasyblasta + others...) and I only charge 5 €uros for posting fees worldwide (no matter the quantity or destination)

I will start promoting my seeds as soon as my fruits start to ripen.
BTW I'm in Portugal so myrtaceae fruiting season here usually starts by mid May.
In fact the fruiting season as just started as I already have Jaboticaba Sabará fresh fruits on the tree.

High seed shipping cost is worth paying if it means importing a variety into the U.S that's never been grown here before or is extremely rare. We need the rarer jabuticaba's to ease the insane craving of all of us jabuticaba junkies.

Frutasraras.com reports Plinia Grandiflora is also available, Plinia G. Is US$3.2 - Médium to large fruit. Super sweet.

Frutasraras.com informed that orders including Phitrantha Branca will be sent in around two weeks that is the time the fruit is ripe, the current seeds are not fresh enough and they want to send very fresh seeds...
