« on: February 25, 2019, 10:40:02 PM »
Explosive growth on this thing. Not much fertilizer was used and I have pruned it 2 or 3 times. In ground just over a year.

Planted on February 19th 2018

These were taken today. 2/25/2019

Did you have any issue keeping the growth going upward? I have 2 (suebell and ?redlands?) that refuse to grow up and constantly grow outward horizontally. Any advice for pruning/training?

Yes, lots of horizontal growth. All of the pruning I did was to branch out the growth and add some more height without staking. I have a tree at home that I have trying to train with bamboo stakes.

I was hoping for flowers this year. I am not certain when Redlands blooms but I saw flowers on other cultivars.

My Supersweet is full of small fruit. Last year it had 3 and they fell off. My Suebelle
is flushing growth and not flowering. Please let me know when and if your Redlands
produces

Mine flowered for the first time in November/December and is now holding a single fruit. It’s about 7 ft tall and in the ground for 2.5 years
