I oftrn juice them then freeze the juice in ice cube trays
Keep the cubes in containers in the freezer for whenever there needed
Taste as good as fresh

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banana_passionfruit

As far as I'm concerned these variety of passionfruit are by far the sweetest, very little sour taste at all
Added bonus is being able to eat unripe fruit as a vegetable addition to my sour and stew
Really beautiful flower as well
Mine are ripening at the moment so seed available shortly

Next best is a small purple variety. These are just eaten out of hand and rarely even make it to the house

The video link from pine island shows how its made and used
Man-it works great.      Fast and easy  opener
Additional advantage is the whole husk, useful for planting orchids  and vanilla vines.

Hi-Just had the coconut collector at the house
Sends his monkey up the tree while his wife opens and de-husks the coconut
They had a really effective tool to do the opening,do thought I'd share
They had it made from regular re-bar

Thank you for naming this
On researching ,find some interesting medicinal uses such as treatment for blood sugar
Interesting tree

That amorphalus is amazing
Grows faster then bamboo from huge edible tubers
If your lucky enough and it flowers its truly amazing
Mine flowers almost 2 feet accross
Smells like rotting flesh-but worth it

The seed stalk looks like a stop light-green on bottom-yellow then red on top
makes them easy to spot in the wild

Have berniker-mossman and mayher varietys
Favorite for flavor is berniker
Quite popular here so far

Thanks guys
So have a peanutbutter fruit and fig tree
Both good but hardly what I expected
The figs taste good and the squirrels beat me to almost every peanutbutter fruit,so they must be tasty
LOL-guess i'll be tradeing for mammy sapote and already have 6 other rollinia/cheramoys/atamoya not fruiting yet
Guess I'll wait and see what they produce.Should be within a year from now

My passion fruit vines are also in a clay soil-but only after adding a good compost and some dry manure
Also recommend planting in raised mound-they don't tolerate wet feet
The sand when it eventually mixes with clay just makes it harder-not a good solution
